Executive Staff - Gameinlane is fortunate to have a management staff with an extensive background in game development, operations and business development.
CEO - Kevin Flood started his career in gaming working for Sega helping them manage their US development operation. Sega was an early adopter of the internet integrating traditional internet and peer to peer play into the Dreamcast game platform. Kevin oversaw the management of the infrastructure providing access to Sega games over the internet and the development team taking Sega titles developed in Japan and integrating them into an internet accessible format.
He joined Wagerworks/IGT as VP of Engineering helping them build the first online casino platform for US land based casino operators. He worked with MGM/Mirage in the development of a game platform, 12-15 Flash games, age/location/identity system and a financial transaction processing platform launching the platform in the Isle of Man. The platform is still in use today used by BSkyB, PaddyPower and other European operators.
He later joined Harrahs to help them build and launch their casual online gaming site Luckyme.com. He developed a special age/location/identity and successfully launched it in the UK and Alderney.
Kevin returned to the US to join Pureplay.com, the first subscription online poker site launched in the US. Pureplay is currently the largest subscription online poker site in the US with 2 million registered players.
Kevin left Pureplay to start Gameinlane with the goal of exploring the social gaming, virtual currency and virtual goods phenomena. This exploration led to the company's development of several ideas on how best to integrate these concepts into a single game platform. Kevin has leveraged these ideas in his consulting practice and helped gaming companies implement his ideas into their platforms.
CFO - John Welch is a veteran CFO and attorney working in the San Francisco high tech and entrepreneurial community. John has an MBA from Vanderbilt University, a JD from the University of San Francisco, an MS in Taxation from California State University and a BS from Villanova University. John works primarily with startup companies in the Bay Area craftng their business organizations and setting up financial management systems.
VP Of Engineering - Yan Kitsis received his engineering degree from Moscow University and has worked in the San Francisco Bay area for the past 10 years working primarily as an engineer and engineering manager for internet and gaming related companies. Yan was one of the first engineers at Pureplay helping to develop the payment processing and reporting systems for the company's subscription gaming game model and is currently developing the Allwingo multiplayer game platform.
